Your profile and password

Your own name, the email you sign in with, and changing your password — the one page nobody's role can take away.

Yourself, not your company

Profile is its own item in the sidebar rather than a fourth tab under Settings, and the split is deliberate. Settings is running the company — the business profile your documents are printed from, who gets a login, what your bookings are called — and each tab of it is behind a permission. Profile is managing yourself, so it is there for everybody whatever their role.

If what you came to change is the company name, the address on your documents, your logo or somebody else's access, none of it is here. It is under Settings, and a Company Admin can reach it.

Your name and your login email

Your name is yours to change. The login email is shown greyed, with the reason beside it.

Your first and last name are what colleagues see beside your work, and you can change them here.

Your email is shown but cannot be edited. It is half of your login credential and the only channel a password reset arrives on, so the API refuses to change it from this form at all. It stays on the page because "what do I sign in with?" is a question worth answering — it is just answered rather than asked.

Your job title and what your role can open are shown here as a fact, not as a control. Both are set by a Company Admin under Settings.

Changing your password

Three boxes, and the length rule stated before you type rather than after a refusal.

Three boxes: the password you have, the new one, and the new one again. The new one has to be at least eight characters, and the form says so before you type rather than only after refusing you.

Changing it signs you out — here and on every other device signed in as you. That is the point of the feature as much as a side effect: if you are changing your password because somebody else might know it, the session on their machine ends with it. The page confirms the change, then sends you to the login screen a few seconds later.

If you cannot remember the current password, do not fight this form. Sign out and use the "forgot password" link on the login screen, which mails you a reset link instead.

The same page on every surface

Your customers and partners see this page too, in their own portal, with one section added: their company's contact details, which the staff handling their shipments read. It is the same page you are on, which means a question a customer asks you about it has the same answer you would give yourself.
